Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients for medical purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging services are provided to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Positioning patients correctly for X-ray procedures
- Operating X-ray equipment to capture images of the body
- Ensuring that the X-ray images are of high quality and clarity
- Maintaining and calibrating X-ray equipment
- Following safety protocols and regulations to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborating with radiologists to review and analyze X-ray images
- Providing compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals undergoing X-ray procedures
- Keeping accurate records of X-ray procedures and patient information
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- State licensure or certification to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with X-ray equipment and techniques
