Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to help diagnose and treat patients. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.

2. Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

3. Follow proper safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

4. Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret imaging results.

5. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

6. Assist with patient scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.

7. Stay current on trends and advancements in radiologic technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology.

2. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.

7. Knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques.
