Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to assist physicians in accurately diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders
2. Position patients correctly for imaging procedures to obtain accurate results
3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner
4. Ensure patient safety during procedures by following established protocols
5. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions
6. Assist radiologists in interpreting images and developing treatment plans
7. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiologic technology and procedures
9. Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure high standards of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- BLS certification
