Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical imaging technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and operating the CT equipment.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, following protocols and protocols set forth by radiologists.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during scanning.
- Maintain accurate records and patient data.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in CT technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification in CT technology is required.
- State licensure or certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of EMR systems preferred.
