Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The Radiologic Technologist will work closely with patients to explain procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce accurate images for interpretation by physicians.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for x-ray procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
2. Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images while following safety protocols.
3. Operate x-ray equipment to capture images of the designated area.
4. Develop x-ray films or use digital imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
5. Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately.
6. Maintain and clean x-ray equipment to ensure proper functioning.
7. Assist radiologists and other medical professionals in interpreting images.
8. Adhere to all regulations and guidelines related to radiation safety.
9. Stay current on technological advances and best practices in the field of radiologic technology.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in producing diagnostic images.
7. Knowledge of radiology procedures and safety protocols.
8. Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
