Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray in Claremont, NH
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with X-Ray experience to join our team in Claremont, NH. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing support to physicians in diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses. You'll be responsible for patient care, equipment maintenance, medical imaging, and patient education.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, MRI, CT Scan, or mammography
- Ensuring patients are comfortable and calm during their radiology procedures
- Preparing patients for examinations by explaining the procedures and positioning them for imaging
- Operating complex medical equipment to produce high-quality images
- Analyzing the images for quality and preparing reports for physicians
- Maintaining imaging equipment and performing routine safety checks
- Keeping detailed patient records and ensuring that electronic health records are updated
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent certification
- Registered Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Active state license to work as a Radiologic Technologist in New Hampshire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality patient care
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
