Job Title: Sonographer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to produce high-quality images
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound images to assist in patient diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in ultrasound technology
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient imaging
