Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a catheterization laboratory setting and possess a strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for any complications
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Certification as a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) or registered cardiovascular technologist (RCVT) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a catheterization laboratory
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
