Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images for patients. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Positioning patients correctly for imaging procedures
- Operating and adjusting CT equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Administering contrast agents as needed for certain imaging studies
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Documenting procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols
