Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT technology and be able to provide high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort
- Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of patients' anatomy
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and well-being
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and communicate findings to radiologists
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT technology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
