Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
2. Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images.
3. Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort.
4. Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
5. Collaborate with radiologists to interpret scan results.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
9. Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in CT imaging.
Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree or certification in Radiologic Technology.
2. Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited program.
3. Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong problem-solving skills.
9. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
