Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, as well as producing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
-Operate MRI equipment to capture images of the body
-Monitor patients during procedures and address any concerns or issues that may arise
-Ensure images are of high quality and accurately represent the area of interest
-Communicate with radiologists to ensure images are interpreted correctly
-Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
-Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks to patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology
-Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
-Experience working with MRI equipment and procedures
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
