Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)
Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce images of various parts of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols
2. Position patients correctly for imaging and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure
3. Maintain and operate X-ray equipment in a safe and efficient manner
4. Develop and analyze X-ray images for quality and accuracy
5. Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret images
6. Keep accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures
7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
8. Stay current on advancements in X-ray technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology
2. ARRT certification in Radiography
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
4. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
7. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
8. Experience working with various imaging modalities and equipment
