Job title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment, producing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists or physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide timely and accurate results
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- State licensure as a CT Technologist
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
