Job Title: Radiology Technologist - CT Scan
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our team in the CT Scan department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT scan equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. This individual must have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with department protocols and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist radiologists with image interpretation and analysis
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT Scanning
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment
