Job Title: Radiology MRI Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology MRI Tech to operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines and produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have experience in using MRI equipment and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the process to them
- Operate MRI machines to capture images of patients' bodies
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Review images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnosis
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Certification in MRI technology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Radiology MRI Tech
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating MRI equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations
