Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain CT equipment in accordance with established protocols
- Review images to ensure quality and accuracy
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient education and support as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
