Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Positioning patients correctly for CT scans
- Operating CT equipment to capture images
- Monitoring patient safety during procedures
- Assisting radiologists in interpreting images
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
