Job Title: Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating mammography equipment to produce high-quality images of the breasts for medical diagnosis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform mammograms and other breast imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain patient records and equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT certification in mammography
- State licensure as a Mammography Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care protocols
