Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to obtain images of patients' internal organs, tissues, bones, and blood vessels. Your expertise will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients as per physician's orders, ensuring the highest quality of images obtained.
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions during the scanning process.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Evaluate scanned images for technical quality, ensuring that they meet diagnostic standards.
- Provide care and comfort to patients throughout the scanning process, ensuring their safety and addressing any concerns.
- Administer contrast materials as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging findings and patient status.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging data, and performed procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and best practices, attending continuous education programs and workshops.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid state license or certification as a CT Technologist.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Proficient in operating CT equipment and related technology, with sound knowledge of imaging techniques and protocols.
