Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary: The CT Technologist will operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will be responsible for efficient and safe operation of equipment while delivering the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans according to protocols and procedures established by Radiologists
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
- Document patient information and maintain patient records
- Provide education to patients about the imaging process
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current licensure by the state of Utah
- Minimum of one year of experience in CT imaging
- Proficient in working with computer systems and medical software
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
