Job Title: CT Technologist in Great Falls, MT
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CT Technologist to join our team in Great Falls, MT. The ideal candidate will operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of various parts of the body for diagnostic purposes. The CT Technologist will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanner and related equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
• Monitor patients for safety during the scan.
• Review and interpret images to ensure high-quality results.
• Communicate with radiologists and physicians to analyze patient results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow proper documentation procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist in ordering necessary supplies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation protection practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current ARRT certification and state licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT scanning
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficient in relevant software and computer systems
