Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist General ab/ob small parts, Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general ab/ob small parts ultrasound imaging, as well as Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasounds and x-rays to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform ultrasounds and x-rays on patients in a fast-paced environment
2. Ensure images are of high quality and accurately capture the area being studied
3. Collaborate with physicians to review images and provide accurate diagnoses
4. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
5. Keep detailed records of all procedures and patient information
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during imaging procedures
7. Assist in training and mentoring new technologists as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiography or a related field
2. ARRT certification in Radiography and/or ARDMS certification in Ultrasound
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ab/ob small parts ultrasound imaging
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Knowledge of PACS and EMR systems
7. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
