Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with expertise in general ab/ob small parts and vascular ultrasound. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, analyzing imaging results, and providing accurate patient assessments. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including general ab/ob small parts and vascular studies
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound images to provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in ultrasound technology
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ab/ob small parts and vascular ultrasound
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
