Job title: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist (Nuclear Med/Xray)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, X-rays, and nuclear medicine imaging. The Radiologic Technologist will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, X-rays, and nuclear medicine imaging
-Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process
-Operate imaging equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and calibrated
-Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results
-Ensure accurate and clear imaging results for interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare professionals
-Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
-Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
-Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the imaging department
Qualifications and Skills:
-Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
-Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification
-CT Technologist (CTT) certification preferred
-Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification preferred
-Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
-Experience with PACS/RIS systems is a plus
