Job Title: Mammographer Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammographer Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures using radiologic imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat diseases of the breast.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of the breast
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and determining final diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide education and support to patients during the imaging process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified in Mammography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
