Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The Cath Lab Technologist will assist the medical team in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment in the cath lab
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide emotional support
- Monitor patients during procedures and assist with any necessary interventions
- Assist physicians with catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) preferred
- 2+ years of experience working in a cath lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
