Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General, Abdominal, Obstetric, Small Parts
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to general, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts ultrasounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with radiologists to analyze imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Assist with the training and supervision of student technologists and other staff members
- Keep equipment clean and properly maintained
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the field of ultrasound technology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts ultrasound
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and software
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing medical imaging practices
