Job Title: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist who is proficient in conducting CT scans to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic scans as per physician orders.
2. Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
3. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings to obtain high-quality images.
4. Monitor patients during scans and communicate effectively with them throughout the process.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses.
7. Follow safety protocols and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
2. ARRT certification and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
3. Certification in CT scanning is required.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with proficiency in CT scanning.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures.
9. Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.
