Job Title: MRI Technologist/Sleep Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist/Sleep Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, specializing in both MRI scans and sleep studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and analyzing sleep patterns to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Monitor sleep studies and analyze sleep patterns to assist in the diagnosis of sleep disorders
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports
- Follow proper protocols for MRI and sleep study procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- ARRT certification in MRI and/or sleep technology
- Valid state license to practice as an MRI Technologist and/or Sleep Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of MRI equipment operation and sleep study procedures
