Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly-skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Kealakekua, Hawaii. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and expertise to accurately operate MRI equipment, produce high-quality imaging results, and work with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality imaging results
• Follow protocols for administering contrast material and obtaining consent from patients
• Assist patients during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
• Monitor patients for potential adverse reactions to contrast material
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and ensure that patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment and exam rooms
• Help to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited MRI program and hold current AART registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating MRI equipment and performing procedures
• Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and ability to follow proper safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well with patients and co-workers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
