Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients for medical diagnosis. You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
2. Position patients correctly to obtain clear images.
3. Follow protocols to ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
4. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition.
5. Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
6. Keep accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
7. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnoses.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
7. Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures in the field.
