Job Title: X-ray Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, according to established protocols
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Keep detailed records of patient procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of radiology technology and imaging procedures
