Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images of patient's internal organs and tissues. The MRI Technologist will work closely with radiologists to interpret imaging results and provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the process to alleviate any anxiety
- Operate MRI scanners to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Maintain and clean MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Work collaboratively with radiologists to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnosis
- Educate patients on the importance of following pre-exam instructions for optimal imaging results
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
