Job title: X-ray Technician
Job Summary:
As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies for medical purposes. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Operating X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
2. Positioning patients correctly and ensuring they are comfortable during procedures.
3. Following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and yourself.
4. Maintaining patient records and ensuring proper documentation of procedures.
5. Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
6. Assisting with other imaging procedures as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an accredited X-ray technician program.
3. Current certification and licensure as an X-ray technician.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
