Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients
- Ensure images are of high quality and accurately document all findings
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Educate patients on the procedures and provide excellent patient care
- Stay current on ultrasound technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
