Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate imaging equipment and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the healthcare team by providing accurate and high-quality nuclear medicine scans.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by a physician.

2. Operate imaging equipment to perform nuclear medicine scans, including PET and SPECT scans.

3. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.

4. Monitor patients during scans to ensure accurate image acquisition.

5. Process and analyze images to provide accurate diagnostic information to physicians.

6. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.

7. Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information.

8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide the best possible care for patients.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.

2. ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.

3. State licensure as a nuclear medicine technologist.

4. Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
